# NFT MetaData

## What is Metadata

Metadata is where all of the information about the NFT is stored.  It is publicly available to anyone and verifiable.

* Standard Data (Asset Name, Metadata Standard, type, description etc)
* Custom Data (Information about the Art/Media, defined by the creator)
  * For example, if your project is about Characters, you might want to list attributes about what they are holding, wearing, hairstyle and so on.

All NFTs created by Mogul can have their attached data shown and displayed on IPFS<br>
